Day 1 : Denpasar – Maumere (B/L/-)
Depart your hotel in Bali to the airport and take a domestic flight to Maumere in East Flores. You will be met by your guide at Frans Seda Airport in Maumere, then directly transferred to Sea World Club Hotel Waiara – Maumere. (Sunset photo from your hotel).
Day 2: Maumere – Moni (B/L/-)
Depart at 06.30 from your hotel and drive to Bukit Niloh which is 400m above sea level. From here you have panoramas over Maumere bay. You will continue your drive to the southern coast of Sikka, visit Sikka’s traditional Ikats, and the black sandy beaches. Enjoy a hearty lunch in Paga beach which is on the way to Moni. You will have the chance to visit Koka beach. Dinner and overnight at Kelimutu Moni Eco Lodge.
Day 3: Moni – Kelimutu
Leave your hotel at 4:30 am to one of the most spectacular and mysterious sights in Indonesia, Kelimutu Lake. Kelimutu means Mountain of the Spirits. Known for its famous 3 color lakes: Turquoise, Blue, and Greenblack. It is the dissolved minerals within the lake water that give different colors to this one kind of place. Once you have had your fill of these amazing lakes, head back to your hotel for breakfast. Following breakfast, you will then drive to Wologai village – Lio tribes. Lunch will be provided here and in the afternoon visit Wolotopo village. Dinner and overnight at Grand Wisata Hotel.
Day 4: Bajawa
Rise early with the sun and head out to the local market to capture the sights and scenes of local lifestyles. Will will then drive to Nua Bosi hill for various photographic opportunities of the city including Gunung Meja and Iya. On the way to Bajawa, you will visit Nanga panda. Enjoy your lunch in Bowie. The adventure continues as you drive to Soa hot spring where you can enjoy a natural hot spring. From Soa drive to Bajawa to enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant then overnight at Happy-happy hotel or Samian Hotel Bajawa.
Day 5: Bajawa – Ruteng
In the morning at 5 am drive to Wolo Bobo for sunrise and landscape photography. This is a highlight of the trip and allows you to really breathe this wonderful landscape and area. Once the sun has risen head back to the hotel for a much-needed breakfast. Once finished with breakfast head out on your drive to Bena traditional village of Ngada tribes. This village is located on the slope of Mount Inerie and is a unique look at an older style of life. Unfortunately, you will have to continue your adventure to Aimer as there is still lots to see. Lunch will be enjoyed in Borong and once you have had your fill you will continue driving to Ruteng. Dinner at Agape restaurant and overnight at MBC Susteren.
Day 6: Ruteng – Labuan Bajo – Rinca
Depart your hotel and pay a visit to Golo Curu hill and enjoy the view of Ruteng and the rice terraces on the northern side. A uniquely shaped array of rice paddies. Then to Cancar to see the unique Lingko rice field, circular terraces arranged like a spider web. An amazing photographic opportunity! then drive direct to Labuan Bajo, from the pier of Labuan Bajo by boat to Rinca island. overnight on the boat.
Day 7: Rinca – Komodo island
Morning trekking in Rinca to see the last giant lizard… The Komodo dragon and other wild animals. The trip to Komodo island will take 2 hours and once there you will begin trekking to find the diverse wildlife. A short visit to Komodo village where you can witness the local interactions of the people and the wildlife. Return to your boat and sail to Pink Beach for a much need swim and a wonderful opportunity to snorkel and observe some of the marine life that calls this island home. Overnight on the boat.
Day 8: Komodo – Labuanbajo
Sail to Sabolo and Seraya Kecil island for snorkeling and amazing potential photographic opportunities from island coves and endless blue skies that vanish into the oceans below! Your afternoon will be enjoyed sailing back to Labuanbajo (the program may change depending on sea conditions). Dinner and overnight at Puri sari hotel.
Day 9: Labuan Bajo – Denpasar
After breakfast, you will have the chance to visit the Batu Cermin Cave. Batu Cermin Cave is set within an impressive prominent rock formation near Labuan Bajo. Through a hole in the cave, rays of light find their way into the cave’s inside walls where they perform a spectacular show of reflected sunlight. This fascinating effect is caused by some slick, mirror-like rock surfaces that reflect the light. Hence the cave’s name, Batu Cermin, which means ‘mirror rock’ in Indonesian. If you want to experience this visual delight in all its beauty, make sure to be there at the right time: depending on the time of year, the sunrays only hit the hole between 9 and 10 am. After witnessing these amazing dancing sun rays head to the airport for your flight to Denpasar.

What to bring:
The dress is casual. Clothing should be light, preferably cotton with at least one long-sleeved shirt and pants. Bathing suit, thongs or sandals, sneakers or walking boots, camera, replacement batteries, and spares. Bring one light sweater or jacket as it can get cool in the highlands. Also bring sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses, and a sunhat.
